I'm the author of Death at Deacon Pond, a
dark and twisty murder mystery about a girl
haunted by visions.

Unlike my character, I don't solve crimes.
Or see dead people.
I am a little dark and twisty, though.
I think that's a good thing.

I have also written a few picture books.
Angler Fish, was honored with a Society of
Children's Book Writers and Illustrator's
Barbara Karlin Award.
I think that's a good thing, too.

My latest novel, Apple Moon, is currently out
on submission.
I'm happy to say that it took 3rd place in the
Smartwriters competition.
It follows two brothers who try to stay together
after they are sent West on the Orphan Train
and is most suitable for upper middle grade
readers.
